Alan Barnosky is a flatpicking guitarist who plays and teaches in the folk and bluegrass idioms. He has been a lifelong musician and performs regularly in the Southeast. Influenced by Doc Watson, Norman Blake, Clarence White, and Tony Rice, Barnosky teaches flatpicking to students of all levels. “I focus on a blend of technique, theory, and musical examples to bring together all aspects of well-rounded musicianship.”
